• GM’s + Chefs: Please take a minute to review your labor forecasts together to stay aligned and keep hours accurate. It might feel like a chore, and on-the-fly tweaks will always come up, but the more we stay dialed in, the better the team can plan for their income, and the better we’re set up for success.

• Reminder: send all petty cash receipts to Katie directly at the accounting@cannonballmgt.com email instead of uploading to Margin Edge. This will apply to all petty receipts – food, beverage, maintenance supplies, etc. Please spread the word to all the assistant managers/anyone who uploads to Margin Edge.

• GMs will begin sending Weekly Labor Reports to Accounting every Monday, starting tomorrow, 1/12/26.

  • Please reach out if you have any questions

• Under Forms, you will now see a new option for “Incident Report.”

  • Please use this form going forward for any situations that need documentation, including injury, strong guest complaints, property damage, theft/loss, drug or alcohol-related concerns, behavior issues, or other incidents requiring documentation & follow-up. When in doubt, complete a Report.’

  • WHY? This keeps things clear and consistent, helps protect everyone involved, and makes sure issues get handled the right way.

• A few final pieces are still outstanding for the 2025 Wrap-Up, so it will be released on Monday to kick off our new Weekly Newsletter Series.

• Sleigh Station at Taquerio: Candy Cane tent will be taken down today. Santa’s Sleigh Station inside will remain.

• Bridge Marketing is now onboard and will handle social media for all the restaurants. Bridge will join the end of our Roundtable on Wed 1/14 at 10am to meet you all and discuss strategy.

• GMs, please complete the Winter Hours of Operation Spreadsheet for your building(s).

• GMs & Chefs: Please complete the Property Punch List for your building(s) by this Saturday, 1/10.

• 2025 Wrap-Up Newsletter: I am still waiting on a few Bios. Please send those over so I can release the Wrap-up by tomorrow.

• Sleigh Station at Taquerio will remain open through Sunday, January 25. It will close Monday, January 26 for dismantling and reopen as Taquerio on Tuesday, January 27. The Candy Cane tent will be removed prior to that date (TBD).

• Valentine’s Day planning is underway. Please begin brainstorming ideas for your location’s evening experience.

• New marketing initiatives are kicking off, with planning beginning today.

• Cannonball Credit Cards: If you use any Cannonball credit cards ending in please notify me before use. Once a purchase is made, please send me the invoice immediately so I can track it properly.

• 5-Mile Road Race - The Mystic 5-Miler kicks off this morning! Here’s the race route. Runners will return to the Monk around 9:30 AM for breakfast and coffee.

• Holiday Party - Thank you all for RSVP’ing, we’re at 102 confirmed guests as of this morning! Ken Carlson will be updating the websites and Google listings to reflect that all restaurants will be closed for dinner Monday night 1/5.

• Team Shoutout - Lots of people have been out sick these past couple of weeks, a huge thank you to everyone who’s stepped up to cover and keep the show running. Your extra effort has not gone unnoticed!

1. 🎄 Christmas décor is coming down at all locations except Taquerio, which will stay Sleigh Station through Sunday, Jan 25. It’ll close Monday the 26th to reset back to Taquerio.

2. 🏃‍♂️ 5-Mile Road Race kicks off tomorrow at 9 AM. Post-race breakfast and awards at Jealous Monk.
